Glenmorangie Astar 2017 Release Single Malt Whisky
This Limited Edition is Astar 2017 Release The Pursuit of Perfection from Glenmorangie. Astar means “journey” in Gaelic, and here it refers to the journey of perfection that Glenmorangie is taking to discover in their search for the perfect casks to mature whisky. Like the 2008 original, this 2017 release has been aged in oak casks from Missouri.
   Nose:   Caramel and crème brûlée. In the background there is a hint of menthol, some cinnamon and coconut.
   Taste:   Delicate and silky soft. Apples and pears followed by hazelnuts and caramel.
   Finish:   Medium length and soft.
