Part of the Tun 1509 Series from Balvenie, this is Batch 6.
To create Batch No.6 of The Balvenie Tun 1509, David C. Stewart MBE carefully hand-selected rare and precious casks (refill Sherry butts, ex-bourbon barrels) from the distillery’s precious aged whiskies. All were transferred to Tun 1509, which sits in Warehouse 24, for several months before bottling.

    Nose:    Sherry, raisins, red fruit, dark chocolate, toffee.

    Taste:    Cereals, barley, honey, wood, vanilla, caramel, citrus (lemon, grapefruit).

    Finish:   Quite long, balanced and malty.
