Kilchoman Casado 2022 Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky
Casado is a Limited Edition Single Malt from Kilchoman. ‘Casado’ Portuguese for marriage, appropriate name for a whisky that was aged in Portuguese red wine casks.
It was matured in fresh bourbon barrels for 6 years before 38 casks were married together for 2 years in two 6,000 litre Portuguese red wine vats.
   Nose:   Sweet peat smoke, smoked ham, a hint of farmhouse, honey, white grapes, lime juice and iodine.
   Taste:   Banana, apple, white grapes, honey, citrus fruit, marzipan and salt.
   Finish:  Medium; marzipan, fruit and honey.
