Bushmills 2011 Banyuls Cask Finish The Causeway Collection 2020 Release
Part of the distillery’s extensive Causeway Collection from Bushmills, this triple distilled Single Malt is the 2020 Limited Edition release.
This whiskey was distilled on 1st March 2011 and re-casked on 19th December 2017 before being bottled at cask strength in 2020. It has been matured in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks and finished in Banyuls French Wine cask.
   Nose:   Raisins, dried apricots and figs, plums, almost fermented grapes. Dark chocolate, espresso beans, some liquorice, lovage, allspice and chervil.
   Taste:   Soft and warming attack, sugary and almost sticky on the tongue. A light menthol note right from the start. Plums, raisins, dried figs, nougat and dark chocolate. Sugar beet syrup, malt, toffee.
   Finish:  Medium to long, sweet raisins and plums, dark chocolate, cold coffee.
