Ardbeg Dark Cove 2016 Special Committee only Edition, ‘The Darkest Ardbeg ever’. It was matured in ex-bourbon and dark sherry casks and bottled at a higher strength than the standard release. 

    Nose:    Dark chocolate, rich treacle toffee and distant bonfires, hints of pepper spice and zesty lime.

    Taste:    Smouldering charcoal and wood polish with raisins, dates and ginger emerging from shadows of tarry creosote. Echoes of cured smoked ham and squid ink noodles.

    Finish:    Long, spicy aftertaste.
