This 2023 Sherry Cask release from Ardnamurchan is a vatting of peated and unpeated whisky matured entirely in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry butts and hogsheads. All casks were filled in 2018, which makes the Ardnamurchan AD/ Sherry Cask Release approximately 5 years old.
Nose: Jammy sherry notes, milk chocolate, burnt out wet campfire.
Taste: More chocolate, leather, cinnamon spice and smoke are building.
Finish: Smoky oak, spice and fruit lingering.
