Balvenie 15 Year Old Craftsman’s Reserve The Cooper

Part of the Craftsman’s Reserve from Balvenie, this is The Cooper, named after the vital craftsman, that makes the casks in which whisky is matured. This rare expression was distilled in 1996 and matured in two Sherry butts #10142 and #17949 for 15 years. 
Only 515 bottles released.

    Nose:    Fruit, caramel and sweet spice mix with a little treacle scone.

    Taste:    Sweet and smooth with hints of marmalade and spice.

    Finish:    Very long, with dry fruits and spices.
