Balvenie Madeira Cask 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
The Balvenie Madeira Cask Single Malt has been matured for 15 years in traditional American oak barrels and finished in casks which previously held Madeira wine.
Malt Master David C. Stewart has enjoyed times exploring the Madeira region and wines they produce, inspiring his experimentation of the cask type for finishing.
   Nose:   Overflowing flavours of blackcurrants and brambles slowly layer upon gingery syrup and delicate spice.
   Taste:   Ripe fruitiness from fresh peaches lead to a citrus orange zing, hazelnuts and crisp oakiness coating the pallet.
   Finish:   Long lasting.
