Darkness Benrinnes 14 Year Old Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish
A Darkness independent bottling of Benrinnes Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured for 14 years and given a finish in specially coopered Pedro Ximénez octave casks.
Nose: Spicy, fruity tannins without bitterness, almonds, sherry.
Taste: Dry, rooty with subtle sherry notes, cherry wood, dark fruit.
Finish: Long and soft finish, more reminiscent of Oloroso sherry but with the sweetness of the PX cask.
