Benromach Contrasts Peat Smoke 2012 Single Malt Whisky
This is the 2012 Peat Smoke release from Benromach, a small batch made with heavily peated barley.
It was matured for 9 years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled in 2022, a wonderful fruity and smoky Single Malt.
   Nose:   Fresh vanilla, tart apples, white chocolate and rich, dense peat smoke.
   Taste:   Toasted marshmallow smores, lemon-lime sherbet and smouldering manuka chips.
   Finish:  Sweetness lingers as the peat-fire fades.
