Bushmills 2012 Burgundy Cask Finish The Causeway Collection 2022 Release
Part of the distillery’s extensive Causeway Collection from Bushmills, this triple distilled Single Malt is the 2022 Limited Edition release.
Distilled in 2012, the spirit was first laid down in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks before being re-casked in 2018 and left to mature for another three and a half year in Burgundy red wine casks.
   Nose:   Sweet, vanilla, dried fruits mixed with strawberry jam and some custard apples.
   Taste:   Sweet with red velvet cake followed by a vanilla and strawberry jam sponge cake. The palate is rich and slowly evolves into notes of spiced toffee apple cake and sticky date pudding.
   Finish:  Long and smooth with spices and tannin remaining for a while longer.
