Chivas Royal Salute 21 Years Old The Blue Wade Flagon 1L
Royal Salute was created in 1953 to mark the coronation of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The name of this exceptional Scotch Whisky comes from the 21 Gun Royal Salute, which is fired as a mark of respect for powerful dignitaries. This whisky was aged for 21 years in oak casks, then bottled in porcelain flagons.
This expression from Chivas Brothers is an older edition Blue Flagon, presented in the classic Wade ceramic flagon.
   Nose:   Sweet, fruity, slightly resinous and some apple.
   Taste:   Slightly sweet, orange, juicy ripe fruit, spices, nuts, some oak.
   Finish:   Long, orange and light bitterness.
Note: Product has come from a private collection, minor markings are inevitable and collectors should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
