Glenfiddich Perpetual Collection VAT 01 Single Malt Whisky
In the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and two daughters by his side, William Grant set out to fulfil a lifelong ambition. Together they began building his Distillery by hand, stone by stone. After a single year of work, it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer.
William’s passion, determination and pioneering spirit continues to guide us today. Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned and is now the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a true reflection of our founder’s innovative nature, passed down through the generations.
The Perpetual Collection is a range of whiskies in perpetual motion, within Vats that have never been emptied. A whisky that never sits still.
Added depth due to its maturation in bourbon and red wine casks, Vat 01 is an exceptionally elegant single malt, suited to every palate with sweet and spicy notes for a soft and mellow taste.
   Nose:   Beautifully fragrant and floral. Summer blossom notes with hints of creamy vanilla toffee and subtle oakiness. A touch of zesty citrus in the background.
   Taste:   Very soft and mellow with a lovely balance of oak and the trademark Glenfiddich character. Layers of sweetness and spice with hints of freshly ground pepper.
   Finish:   Delicate and smooth.
