Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Years Old 5th Edition Single Malt Whisky
This is the 12 Year Old, Sherry cask finished expression from Glenmorangie, dubbed The Lasanta. It first matures in bourbon casks before being moved over to Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for a finishing period. Plenty rich and creamy with dark chocolate, dried fruit and fresh honey.
   Nose:   Intense sherry with a hint of sulphur. The Oloroso sherry is dominant with grapes, raisins, dates, hazel nuts and vanilla.
   Taste:   Caramel sweetness with Oloroso sherry notes, i.e. grapes and raisins. Additionally, there is milk chocolate.
   Finish:   First sweet the dry, with sherry, oak and a hint of liquorice.
