Glenmorangie The Duthac Legends Collection Single Malt Whisky
The Duthac is part of the Glenmorangie’s Legend Collection, alongside with The Tayne and The Tarlogan. Each expression of the Legend Collection has been carefully crafted in honour of a Highland legend.
The Duthac was named in honour St. Duthac whose resting place sits at the centre of the Royal Burgh of Tain, in the far north of Scotland where the Glenmorangie Distillery has stood proudly since 1843.
The Duthac from Glenmorangie has been part finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry and virgin oak casks.
   Nose:   Fresh, sultanas, vanilla, red berries, oranges, some honey notes, cinnamon, a bit of dark chocolate.
   Taste:   Slightly sweet, fruity (apricots, yellow apples), spicy (peppers, ginger), black currant notes, burnt caramel, some bitterness.
   Finish:   Short, sweet, oaky and slightly bitter, walnut shells, notes of malt.
Note: Product has come from a private collection, minor markings are inevitable and collectors should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
