Hakushu Story of the Distillery 2024 Edition
Suntory has released a pair of Single Malts themed Story of the Distillery 2024 Edition from both Yamazaki Distillery and Hakushu Distillery.
For the Hakushu Story of the Distillery 2024, Suntory selected and blended smoky Hakushu malt whisky aged in Bourbon barrels. Hakushu Distillery celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2023; the distillery was renovated and this release marks the move into the future.
   Nose:   Aromas of roasted green tea, scents of Spring, gentle vanilla and building smoke.
   Taste:   Delicate and light with a hint of bitterness and sweet citrus.
   Finish:   Long with a smoky aftertaste.
