Description
Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye Tennessee Whiskey
Jack Daniel’s has introduced a Bonded Rye Whiskey as part of their Bonded Series, a line of expressions that honours the distillery’s heritage. A bonded whiskey must be distilled by a single distiller during a single season, matured in a government bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottled at 100 Proof, according to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.
The Bonded Rye features a mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley and is charcoal mellowed before aging in new, handmade American white oak barrels.
Nose:   Enticing blend of sweet soft fruit, rye spice and oak.
Taste:   Bold and complex with notes of dried fruits, toffee and caramel.
   Finish:  Peppery rye spice.
