Lagavulin 16 Year Old released for the Islay Festival, Fèis Ìle 2017. This bottling from Lagavulin was double matured for 16 years in Moscatel cask wood and bottled at cask strength in 2017. The whisky was personally selected by Iain McArthur.
Only 6,000 bottles released.

    Nose:    Subtle smoke, light fruits, slightly spicy, cinnamon, citrus zest, orange, white chocolate, bourbon. Very elegant.

    Taste:    A soft and noble beginning, flattering on the tongue, smoke enters the throat, orange peel, raisins, cinnamon.

    Finish:   A smoky finish with softness, length and elegance.
