Lagavulin 25 Year Old 200th Anniversary Limited Edition
A Limited Edition released to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lagavulin Distillery and an homage to the Distillery Managers. It was matured for 25 years in sherry oak casks, bottled at cask strength and released in 2016.
Only 8,000 bottles released.
   Nose:   Wonderfully aromatic, a very subtle peat smoke note, apricot, peach and papaya.
   Taste:   Very sweet, raisins, dried fruits, minerals, toffee, a hint of BBQ.
   Finish:   Very long! Waves with the sweetness of raisins, dates, figs. dry smoke, dark chocolate and oak​.
