Macallan 2002 SMWS 16 Year Old 24.130 Single Malt Whisky
‘Refined and sophisticated’
This whisky was distilled on 12th March 2002 and has been aged for a total of 16 years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. Distilled at Macallan distillery and bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS).
Only 200 bottles released.
   Nose:   Initially floral, perfume, violet, then toffee, coconut and light honey.
   Taste:   Freshly beaten hay and full of spices, peppercorns. Light honey, apricots, plums and in the background slightly creamy vanilla.
   Finish:  A lot of heat and black peppercorns. Long. Flowers and honey that last a long time.
