North Star Aberfeldy 7 Year Old 2014 Single Malt Whisky
A Single Malt released by North Star Spirits, Cask Series 019. Distilled at Aberfeldy distillery in 2014, the whisky was matured for 7 years in Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled in June 2022 at cask strength.
Only 297 bottles released.
   Nose:   Fruity, ripe apples Initially, then more into berries, raspberries.
   Taste:   Pretty powerful and pickering, some slight alcohol-bitterness. Also, some prunes, berries, and some earthy and vegetal notes, with some sour edge underneath.
   Finish:  Still quite some power. Ripe fruits, some clear bitter note, which remains quite long in the finish.
