North Star Caol Ila 8 Year Old 2014 Single Malt Whisky
A Single Malt released by North Star Spirits, Cask Series 020. Distilled at Caol Ila distillery in 2014, the whisky was matured for 8 years in Port octaves and bottled in September 2022.
Only 220 bottles released.
Nose: Chocolate, salty sea breeze, and a whiff of green herbs. Barbecued smoky meats and driftwood bonfire on the beach.
Taste: Smoked bacon – raw. Rich and sweet barbecue sauce. Salty caramel popcorn.
Finish: Medium long finish. Smoky and meaty all the way. Sweet and decadent.
