North Star Tarot Blend ‘The Fool’ 6 Year Old Blended Whisky
Released by North Star Spirits in early 2023 as the first Tarot Blend.
North Star Tarot Blend consists of 20% malt from Edrington portfolio, refill old Macallan/ Glenlivet butt and 80% grain whiskies. It was distilled in 2016, matured in hogheads and bottled at cask strength in 2022.
Nose: Pleasant wave of vanilla intermingling with the aroma of ripe pear.
Taste: Interesting mix of spice and oak comes forth, followed by the familiar hint of vanilla.
Finish: Lingers longer than anticipated.
