Penderyn Myth Single Malt Welsh Whisky
Part of the Dragon Range from Penderyn, alongside with ‘Legend’ and ‘Celt’ releases, Myth bottling has a pronounced fruity character. The red dragon (Y Ddraig Goch in Welsh) is the proud national flag of Wales, pictured on the bottle and box.
Myth has been matured in a range of specially selected ex-bourbon and rejuvenated oak casks.
Nose: Fresh and lively, Myth has mixed citrus fruits mingling with apple, pear drops and the merest hint of tropical fruits.
Taste: Sweetness dominates then moves over to allow some refreshing bitterness to emerge while the mixed fruits continue to dominate the flavour.
Finish: Gradually all the flavours ebb away to leave memories of a lively and light style of whisky that is easy to drink.
