Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, a picturesque Scottish town situated at the southern end of the Kintyre Peninsula on the glorious west coast.
The first reference to Campbeltown whisky is recorded in writing in 1591. Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Today, Springbank is one of only three distilleries operating in the Campbeltown area and is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland.
Campbeltown Loch are Blended Malts Whiskies produced by the Springbank distillery located in Campbeltown.
The Blended Malt is obtained by combining Malts exclusively from five Campbeltown brands: Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia. These malts are matured in a combination of casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery.

   Nose:   The first nose is concentrated grain power, but quickly disappears and cereals, sweetened oatmeal, toned down sherry profile, greasy leather, dried fruit, workshop, fruity, multivitamin, grapefruit, firewood follow.
   Taste:   Fruity, very mild and soft, pepper flashes briefly, chilli oil, ethereal.
   Finish:   Short, fruity, sticky, peppery.
