Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Batch WT-03RB Gift Set 2 Glasses
Rare Breed is Wild Turkey’s small batch, barrel proof bourbon. The expression was introduced in 1991 and a new batch was originally released once or twice a year. Rare Breed is reportedly a blend of 6, 8, and 12 Year Old bourbon.
This is Batch WT-03RB, bottled at a barrel proof of 108.4 and released in 2003. Comes in a wooden gift box with 2 whisky/bourbon glasses. The glasses are engraved with ‘Wild Turkey Rare Breed Bourbon’.
   Nose:   Very sweet flavours of vanilla, nuts and honey. Cinnamon and oranges. Also, some flowery notes.
   Taste:   Hot and punchy. Lots of corn, toffee and caramel. Later on, more mint and tobacco.
   Finish:   Quite long, warm and spicy.
